Regional Facts: HSTW SW Ohio is a partnership of school districts engaged in comprehensive, systemic school reform. The mission of this partnership is to build the capacity of its member districts to successfully improve student academic and career-technical performance.

All students will graduate on time, ready for their next steps.

Mission metrics:

  1. Percent of students proficient or above on OAT at grades 6 and 8
  2. Percent of students passing the OGT the first time
  3. Percent of member districts having 85% of their students achieve the SREB benchmark in all subjects on the HSTW and MMGW Assessments
  4. Percent of member districts with student mean scores equal to or above the mean scores for high-scoring sites in all subject areas on the HSTW/MMGW Assessments

HSTW SW Ohio's vision is to be recognized as a value-added partner in school processes and student performance improvement by creating and sustaining value-added collaborative services and expanding use of those services among member districts.

Current collaborative services include:

  1. Superintendent/CEO's and Principals' Learning Communities
  2. Reconnects for professional development and growth
  3. Technical assistance/technical review visits
  4. New staff and faculty orientations
  5. Grants for site development
  6. Assessment support
  7. HSTW/MMGW model and curriculum implementation support
  8. Publications, including cross-curricular literacy and numeracy guides
  9. Research dissemination
  10. Program advocacy
  11. Presentations to faculty, staff, and boards
  12. Onsite coaching/consultation
