Description

This is the second of two sessions for administrators and teachers to learn about differing grading practices and their effects on student achievement.  The workshop will highlight the practices of O'Conner, Guskey, Marzano and Reeves.  In addition, the afternoon session will showcase best practices in implementing the Power of "I".

Objectives

Participants will:

  • learn the effects the many and varied grading practices/student reporting can have on student achievement.
  • explain strategies to achieve grading consistency within a district.
  • share best practices in implementing the Power of "I".

Recommended:  Participants that attended Session 1 on August 16, 2010

There is unlimited registration for Northwestern Local Schools but a total of 30 is the limit for all other NE Region sites.
