The Ohio School Improvement Institute is Ohio's premier individual and team professional development for educators with a particular target for those connected to middle and high school learning. The institute is packed with research-based strategies and opportunities for engagement in student achievement, career and college readiness and lifelong learning. The institute strands include, but are not imited to, the following:

This year's Institute is endorsed by The Ohio Department of Education (ODE), The Ohio College Tech Prep Consortia (CTP), The Ohio Board of Regents (OBR), High Schools That Work - Ohio Regions (HSTW), Making Middle Grades Work - Ohio Regions (MMGW), Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education (OACTE), and the Ohio Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (OASCD).

For an additional fee you may earn graduate credit hours. Registration must be done early A.M. on Thursday, November 18, 2010. Details to follow.

Who Should Attend?

Teachers, instructors, school teams, principals, administrators, superintendents, school board members, college tech prep instructors, and post-secondary educators are encouraged to attend and participate. Parents and school board members are also encouraged to attend to learn about proven strategies for improving student achievement.
